INCARNATE Mitts

Certain people have noticed that I like to knit!
It’s true! I love knitting. In fact, to celebrate the release of INCARNATE, I will be holding a series of contests to win INCARNATE-themed fingerless mittens. (Announced here.)
After a lot of staring at the wall and trying to decide what pattern would be the best to use (legally and ethically!), I took one of my favorite cable patterns (from Clessidra socks) and designed a mitt around it. I loooove the hourglass pattern, and I think it’s nice and thematic for INCARNATE.
If you want to knit your own pair of mitts, here’s the pattern.
Spinning
I also love spinning my own yarn.
While I do have a spinning wheel I use for larger projects, spindles will always have a special place in my heart. They’re so little! And deceptively simple! If you’re interested in learning more about spindles and how to use them, I’d suggest starting with Abby’s Yarns and her YouTube channel, which is how I learned how to spin!
One of my favorite things to spin on a spindle is silk. Mmm, silk.
If you want to keep up with what I’m spinning and knitting, check out my weekly blog posts. They go up every Sunday using the tag “yarntastic.”
Are you on Ravelry? Friend me! I’m unicornwarlord.
